Many years ago, caves were discovered on the cliff side (Caldera) of Oia on the Greek island of Santorini and archaeologists identified them as ancient cave houses and lodgings. Some of these cave dwellings were transformed into Luxury Apartments ARIS CAVES, a small and intimate resort with 8 independent vacation rentals. ARIS CAVES is located within 5 minutes walking distance from the village center of Oia and close to all attractions. In spite of this proximity, it remains tranquil and ideal for a romantic vacation in Santorini. A place to relax, to dream and to enjoy the breathtaking views across the Santorini Caldera, the volcano Nea Kameni, the island Thirasia and the deep blue Aegean Sea.

There are 8 different, fully equipped, self-catering rooms (4 Studios, 3 Apartments, 1 Suite) spread over 3 levels. All rooms with kitchenette, bathroom/toilet, air conditioning, Wi Fi, their own private terrace and four of the rooms with their private hot tubs. There are also two communal areas for our guests: the large terrace in the center and the sun terrace next to the main entrance of the resort. Due to the resort's cliff side location, the many steps and low perimeter walls, we recommend children to be at least 12 years old of age and unfortunately we cannot recommend our luxury apartments to guests with limited mobility. During the past years, Aris Caves has been thoroughly modernized, renovated and adapted to offer more comfort and style.
